  • BEGINNER / INTERMEDIATE: 1:00pm - 2:30pm

  • INTERMEDIATE / ADVANCED: 3:00pm - 4:30pm

REGISTRATION & PAYMENT:

  • As interest for this event has grown, we are now accepting pre-registration online below with cash only payments due in-studio either prior to the event during business hours, or upon your arrival to the event.

PLEASE NOTE: Space is limited, and it will be first-come, first-served to those dancers who have paid in full. We strongly encourage you to submit your payment as soon as possible to secure your dancers space on the dance floor. Please check back to this page, where we will place a notification should we reach capacity.

PRICE:

  • $20 per dancer / per class (CASH ONLY)

  • Dancers may attend both classes, but classes are sold separately.
    (1 class = $20 / 2 classes = $40)

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Please arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to your prefered class start time.

  • Upon arrival you will be greeted by SDSD staff who will sign you in, collect your payment if necessary, and direct you to the appropriate studio for waiting or warming up. We will have all three of our large studios in use. Studio 1 for dancers-only to warm up, Studio 2 for parents / guardians / dancers to wait & mingle and Studio 3 to conduct our classes. Parents and guardians will not be permitted into the dance studio during the class.

  • Ryan will lead dancers through a brief warm-up and teach one of Michael Bennett’s original jazz combinations from the iconic dance musical, A Chorus Line.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

  • This event is open to the public for all dancers ages 10 & up.

PLEASE NOTE: As this is a community driven event, we’d like to welcome and encourage all dancers from all dance studios, local theaters, and arts education programs to consider attending, as we hope to highlight on social media all of the studios and organizations represented during the event. Please also feel free & comfortable to wear any dance gear with your studio, school, or organizations brand logo! It is our intention to use this event to support the belief that we are all a part of a larger arts community here on Long Island, and should we all come together, we can create tangible change for arts education.

DANCER REGISTRATION:

Please note that this registration is only a temporary place-holder for your dancer, which will allow us to gauge the number of dancers we can expect.
